Happy New Year
We hope you have had an enjoyable Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at Impey. 2019 was another successful year with Impey celebrating 40 years in business and is still positioned as one of the leading chartered surveying practices in Stockport and South Manchester.
After almost 40 years of neglect, there is now a £1bn redevelopment programme underway in Stockport and the “Stockport Change Here” campaign is starting to have an impact. The town is repositioning itself as a credible and more cost effective alternative to Manchester city centre and is addressing years of poor planning decisions and lack of investment. Impey has been a long standing, trusted advisor to many property developers, investors and owners and with so much activity planned and promised, it is a great time to be part of that wave.
Impey has been instructed on one of the iconic buildings in Stockport, the landmark Pyramid building. This will comprise circa 86,000 sq.ft. of office space which will be delivered to the market on completion of the refurbishment. In addition, Impey have also been instructed to manage the property, one of a number of new management instructions Impey has been instructed on in 2019.
Due to a number of high profile instructions, Impey has recruited John Poole to head up all office and retail agency instructions who has over 10 years experience in the South Manchester market. Joe Bostock takes charge of the industrial agency department and Norman Benton and Roland Shaw handle all the management and professional work.
We thank you for your continued support and hope 2020 will be another fruitful year for both Impey and its clients.
