Our team have now spent 8 weeks working remotely, but activity hasn’t slowed down for Impey & Company.
We have completed sales on Unit E Bankside Business Park, a modern unit of c. 3,600 sq.ft. for which we have subsequently been retained as letting agents and an occupier has already agreed terms. We have also completed a deal on Unit 1 Woodbank Industrial Estate – the freehold of which was sold to Pilot Imports (UK) Limited.

1,035 sq.ft. for sale at Christie Street in Stockport
5,007 sq.ft. to let high bay warehouse accommodation at Pama House Stockport Road East Bredbury
7,575 sq.ft. to let industrial unit at Hurstfield Industrial Estate Reddish
We are seeing good levels of demand for industrial and distribution units and are in active discussions with clients and interested parties. This is a sector which we expect will remain resilient, especially as consumer behaviour shifts even more towards e-commerce.
We have also had notable success during the lockdown at our client Eamar Development’s mixed use scheme San Court in Rusholme, for which a press release will be issued shortly. We have more instructions across all sectors which will be coming to the market shortly, and some transactions completing which we expect to be announcing in the coming days and weeks.
Our professional teams have also remained busy, externally inspecting our managed portfolio regularly in order to be able to advise our clients if any issues have become apparent (which thankfully, they haven’t). Discussions regarding existing professional instructions have continued, by and large, throughout the lockdown.
