Impey & Company, acting on behalf of a London based investment company have been undertaking a marketing campaign in relation to the former HMRC office building, Archer House, situated on Piccadilly in the centre of Stockport. The property comprises a 42,000 sq ft five storey office building, which has been sold to Ladson Group who will convert to provide 75 one-bedroom apartments.


Archer House is located in an area adjoining the Covent Garden Village where the Council is actively encouraging residential development. Stockport Police Station has recently been sold and will be converted to provide flats and apartments.


Ladson Group indicate that during their initial marketing campaign for the residential scheme, they have received substantial interest and report that they have already generated enquiries and sales for 75% of the scheme.


Hygarth House on the main A6 opposite Stockport College and formerly occupied by Stockport MBC Planning Department was recently sold and again has been converted to provide residential apartments. Impey & Company was retained in order to market and let the commercial ground floor space in the property.
